What travellers say about the experience

I could have stayed forever. From incredible farm-to-table food and the bike rides through breathtaking nature with our tour guide Biking Sardinia, to relaxing afternoons spent snorkelling in the crystle clear bays and soaking up culture in the historic town centre of Algero. This trip is a once in a lifetime experience, I can’t recommend it enough.

With the help of our guide we toured its Mediterranean forest in “Le Prigionette”, we got to know its endemic species and we culminated with the views of the spectacular cliffs of Cala Barca. On an E-MTB we ascended Monte Murone and then finished with a swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lazzaretto. By bike we also went to see its famous Neptune’s Grotto, a masterpiece of nature, where stalactites and stalagmites have sculpted the cave.

sustainability

  • This experience offers visitors to cycle on e-bikes throughout the tour, which not only contributes to getting a sense of the natural landscapes of the island but also ensures a little-to-no carbon transport footprint.

  • The park worked to prioritise sustainable practices wherever possible by hand-picking local providers and high-quality suppliers with strong social and environmental values and a willingness to be involved in a new and exciting form of ecotourism.
